Age 8, and oh so innocent...
Age 15, no longer innocent...
Age 19...
...my fantasy was to be a
Chippendale dancer...
..and a Kung Fu master.
..and then, my dream of
bodybuilding took over.
This is 1988, Florrennes,
Belgium, age 20, with
one year of serious body
building under my belt.
I met my idol at the time, Shawn Ray, (in Belgium 88), and I knew I was
ready to roll....
....and roll I did; this was
my first competition.
I won the overall (Coniso
AFS, Italy, June 89).
My first NPC contest, the South Texas Championship, June 90. I won the overall as
Lightweight.
Backstage at the Texas
Championships, Aug 97,
I won the Middleweight
Class..I think it was the
shoes that did it. :)
